Waves of inspiration came over me when I saw this stamp set. The name? Waves of Inspiration. If you look at Pintrest you will find beautiful examples. Over the years, one of my favourite things to do is to create a sunset/sunrise.

While living on Canada’s east coast, I was blessed to see sunsets on the Atlantic Ocean, as well as over Charlottetown, PEI. What I didn’t see were pelicans but I did see alot of cormorants and seals. Because I enjoy using my blending brushes I was inspired to create a sunset by re-inking my ink pads to obtain beautiful solid colours.
This will be my last post until I get home from my trip to Ottawa. I’m writing this post the night before my trip, and oh boy am I ever excited. After a 12 hour train trip from Sarnia, I will see my daughter and her family. I have two cute grandchildren, both girls. My daughter is taking a day off to show me around some cute villages surrounding Ottawa, and of course I am looking forward to being in Ottawa for their annual Tulip Festival, as well as shopping at Nipean’s large yarn store. I’m on a mission: Aside from knitting, I’ve got 3 books packed –2 mysteries and one memoire of a teacher who taught in Taihran. The memoire is for June’s book club at work.
When I get back home, I’ll be teaching a card class and a technique class. If you’re in the Sarnia area and want to attend the May 25th technique class, please get in touch with me for further details.
Have a great week everyone. Thanks for stopping by!
