To a Great Guy – Nature Walk Suite

Nature Walk Suite is perfect for masculine cards. Monday’s post showed you how I used the branch die for a feminine card.

Hello Friends,

It’s the end of the week. Yahoo! Did you get in any stamping time in this week? Mine was filled with making more hexagon papers–LOL. I think I’ll put some into my art journal because it’s something I love alot.

Do you remember me telling you that I bought two “Adopt a Pet” kits for my granddaughters? My daughter said they absolutely loved them, and Miss Charlotte, the 8 year old, dove into the kit with excitement that she has never seen in a long time. Ahhh. Bliss to my ears. I received a video and Miss Charlotte showed me all of the adoption records and each pet. Miss Charlotte is having a birthday soon. She decided to have her party at the Humane Society and will be using her kit as part of the decorations. I wonder how many children will go home begging for a cat or dog–LOL.

Card Details

This is one of two designs I created with the Nature Walk Suite for my class, and because it’s for class I can’t reveal fold details or dimensions, but I sure can highlight some tips. To step up the card, there is a lot of gold embossing which goes beautifully with the Designer Series Paper (DSP) . (I’m now trying to fit in heat embossing in at least one card at every class I teach). Borrowing from the front design, and carrying it into the inside of the card really impresses the recipient. I have one friend that decorates the inside of every card she creates and I’m always blown away with its’ beauty.

Product List

As always, enjoy your paper crafting and please share your projects with me. I enjoy seeing what other creative minds come up with and am frequently inspired by them.

Happy Stampin’
