Hello stamping friends! Sweet Citrus is a popular stamp/die set. This one set creates oranges, lemons, limes, and even coconuts. This is the first of many cards to come using Sweet Citrus. Don’t these lemons look fresh? I love lemons in my ice tea so I go through alot of them. These lemons were watercoloured by spritzing the die cuts with water then using a water painter I painted on Mango Melody and Pumpkin Pie inks. Blossom dies were spritzed with water, then using Melon Mambo I stamped out the blossoms so the ink would bleed.
I hope your summer is going well so far. I’m anxious to get some camping in. When I go out I like to take stamping supplies and my knitting. In two weeks I’ll be getting out to do some camping. Bethie, this is a refreshing card for sure! I love how you watercolored your fruit and that stamped background is awesome, almost looks like it’s embossed! You wouldn’t want to be camping in our heat, oh no, unless it’s nekked camping, ha! And then, probably not even then. Ugh, it’s hot, did I mention that? heehee Stay cool, my friend! XOX
