Jungle Pals Diorama

Hello my lovely stamping friends, Jungle Pals has retired, but I just had to show you the outcome of my youngest granddaughter’s birthday card.

Who has this adorable stamp/die set? It was a free offering with our annual Sale-A-Bration. I really had a lot of fun with this card because there is so much space to work on. I hunted in my mixed media bins for this napkin I used for my background.

One of my favourite things to do when card making is to blend colour onto my dies to give added dimension. What do you think?

Well, spring hit Sarnia, ON, It will be a little cool when Al & I camp this weekend. But I don’t care–we’re just are anxious to get back out. Odd story. Our furnace in the trailer isn’t working because mud wasps got into the furnace and made themselves comfortable. When it’s nice out, Al will take the furnace apart to get it working again.

Currently, I’m working on a cool blanket, which I will put into one of my posts, and will periodically show you how far I’ve gotten. My blanket is called the Safe at Home Blanket, and will be made up of 72 houses. That’s right, houses. Can anyone guess what colour scheme I went with? ie. cool soothing colours, colours that the pattern calls for, or vibrant fun colours?

To see the Last Chance list click my post here. I’ve ordered our new catalogues that start in May and oh my gosh it is a new look, both inside and out. I can’t wait to receive my copy in the mail!

Thanks for stopping by.
