What a lovely sentiment, “Where would I be without a Friend like you? Longer sentiments, like this one, often go on the inside of the card, but I thought it would look nice on my tag today.

Hello Friends,
I hope you had a great week and have fun plans for the weekend. I’m celebrating Easter one week early and have been busy preparing for tomorrow’s Easter dinner. Funny story: I live in an apartment, so freezer space is minimal. With the freezer holding two turkeys I thought it would be good to cook a turkey. In the meantime I did a grocery order on Wednesday and received the “free” product for spending over a set amount. Well, I did spend over that amount only to discover it was ANOTHER free turkey. What would I do with three free turkeys!? After rotating and taking out the oldest turkey I left it in a cooler out on my balcony. For those who live in warmer temperatures, one thing we do here in Canada is to use balconies and garages as our second fridge/freezer during the cold months. I’m awake very early, to beat the rush to the laundry room, this morning, so I’ll give it until 6am before I put the turkey into the oven. LOL.
Onto my card. I am making two card sets so I can donate them to our hospital’s fundraising event. This particular card came from Mary Knabe’s April one-sheet-wonder. I changed the DSP, cardstock colours, and sentiments. Receiving a one-sheet-wonder package of cards makes it a delight for the recipient. Plus they all coordinate, and anyone who knows me, knows that I’m all about coordination–LOL. Because it’s Mary’s card sketch I encourage you to visit her YouTube.
I hope you have a terrific weekend friends!
As always, enjoy your paper crafting and please share your projects with me. I enjoy seeing what other creative minds come up with and am frequently inspired by them.
Happy Stampin’, Beth

Oh my goodness, you will be sick of turkey with that much won’t you 🙂
Your card is lovely and that pretty sentiment works wonderfully on that tag, love the pretty sheer ribbon you topped it off with and the paper is beautiful!
