Love & Courage

Love & Courage is a beautiful stamp set for those touched with cancer. My daughter is one of those individuals who has been touched with ovarian cancer. This card was made for her.

Hello Friends!

Wow, can you believe tomorrow is October 1st already? Athough the love of cooler temperatures, Pumpkin flavours, and hot apple cider are welcome in September, October is “bring it on!” There is an apple orchard that Al and I like to go to in October which has a store area that is so festive with gorgeous pumpkin displays outdoors. On the inside of the store it is full of awesome apples (honey crisp is our favourite), and of course the trip wouldn’t be complete without visiting the taste testing of the variety of hard apple ciders and a sit down with a glass outdoors around the fire. Cozy, festive and comfort.

As I said at the beginning of my post, this card is for my daughter, Sarah. She has been very strong and has kept family and friends updated on Facebook and Instagram with tours following along in her hospital and life journeys with ovarian cancer. Sarah has shown a strong side of her but also a vulnerable side. Please keep her in your prayers.

On September 20th, I had my 2nd annual Christmas in September. I like to hold my Christmas festivities in September to celebrate the release of new on-line exclusives and the Sept-Dec mini holiday catalogue. The photo above shows the seating place mark for each individual. I included one of my homemade bookmarks alongside the Stampin’ Up! reusable tote bag and cookie, but I forgot to include it in my photo (insert sad face).

My cookie was custom made my dear friend Kim Kerr who has a business creating awesome cakes, cookies & cupcakes. Please contact me for Kim’s contact information.

For my card I used retired Tempting Turquoise cardstock, ink & flat sequins and current products are listed below

As always, enjoy your paper crafting and please share your projects with me. I enjoy seeing what other creative minds come up with and am frequently inspired by them.
