Everyday Happiness is such a delightful Designer Series Paper (DSP). This package comes with 4 sheets of 3 different designs. I’m delighted because all of the double-sided prints are gorgeous and can be used for both feminine and masculine cards/projects.

Today’s card is one of many coordinating cards from Mary Knabe’s April one sheet wonders. This is the second of two sets I made using April’s one sheet wonder. On my first go around I used different DSP, and this time I used the same DSP as Mary Knabe did in her YouTube video. I like one sheet wonders for gifting card sets. There’s nothing nicer than coordinating cards and envelopes tied with ribbon or in a specialty box designed for holding gift sets.
Hello my Friends,
Here we are well into May where tree buds have blossomed and the grass is green. Tulips are up, and getting out into the gardens are on our minds. Life is wonderful!
I hope you had a nice Mother’s Day. Al and I went to visit some friends for the weekend. On Saturday Robina and I drove to Elora to do some shopping. Elora is a beautiful little village with quaint shops. On our way home on Sunday, Al and I stopped in at the Grand Bend Flea Market.
Yesterday was an art-filled day for me. I went to a friend’s house in the next city over for an afternoon of stamping, where I was in my element with hundreds of Stampin’ Up! stamps & dies at my finger tips. I chose to work on a Christmas-themed project. We compared notes on who we follow on YouTube & blogs. The room was filled with laughter all afternoon. I was treated to a delicious supper before I drove 6 minutes away to my first abstract painting class with Cheri Loeb.
Aside from having stamping, painting, and cross-stitch on the go, I have a detailed knitting project at hand. I started my Safe at Home blanket in October 2023, and estimate it will be October 2025 to have the blanket knitted completely. Once I reach the point of having to sew hundreds of ends in, and mattress stitching the pieces together I will be starting on another project to give me a break from constant sewing on the Safe at Home blanket. As you can imagine, this is a major project.

Being a colour lover that I am, I chose to colour a chart to guide me along with which colours I need to knit rather than knitting the blanket in the suggested muted colour scheme. The colour chart was photographed before Christmas. My chart is now complete, as are my house bases and roofs. All I have to complete now are the skies.

Here are my first three complete rows. Now I’m completing the skies, which knit up quick.
As always, enjoy your paper crafting and please share your projects with me. I enjoy seeing what other creative minds come up with and am frequently inspired by them.

Squeal…!!! I am totally impressed and 100% smitten with your knitting project! It’s a wonderful piece, full of life and colors, just like it’s maker! Sounds like you had a wonderful weekend – you had me at hundreds of stamp sets and dies! So happy for you! We just got back from a visit with family in California – had a very fun time. Hubby has surgery in the city tomorrow very early a.m. – yep, again!!! It was nice to get to see both families in CO and CA prior to him going back into surgery. I so love this DSP on your card! The colors are both soft and vibrant, if that’s possible! Thanks for always sharing your masterpieces with us! Big hugs…
Very pretty card, I love the bow at the top of the tag!
You sure have a lot of projects on the move, your blanket is looking terrific!
