Autumn Leaves

Over the weekend I noticed a few trees, sprinkled here and there, with bright red and orange leaves. It was so beautiful.

I hope you had a terrific week. I can’t believe how fast it went. Whew. But, with this being Friday, I’m looking forward to a great weekend.

I managed to see my friend who has cancer over the week. Unfortunately, her husband isn’t doing well now and I ask that you keep both of them in your prayers, as well as their family.

Did you get your Advent Calendar ordered? With excitement I did. It’s going to be hard waiting to open that first door. Many companies have Advent Calendars and I was thrilled when Stampin’ Up! announced that they were introducing a 12 Days of Christmas Advent Calendar. I hope that this carries over from year to year.

About my Card

I’m sure you recognize the retired products I used here. Did you notice that I used cork paper on my card? It came out long ago, but like you, I hoard my DSP and specialty paper. I’m not sure what came over me, but I’ve decided to stop hoarding products for “the perfect project” or the excuse of “it’s too pretty and I don’t want it used up.” One never knows what’s around the corner so I challenge you to jump on board with me.
